   Google ‘Quality of life” and compare Australia with most countries. It is a beautiful country. I don’t think our allegiance the the USA is helping us much, but we are infinitely better off than the USA. Those who knock Australia are fools – we are not perfect at all but I have lived here and in Europe and the USA, so I have a perspective. The USA is no sense a ‘Democracy’, not even close.

   The Aborigines were democratic. You should tell your government to give you democracy.

America has more riots than australia do. Even in south africa riots go off big there and same with south america too. do u remember the chinese protesters rioting outside the japanese embassy in china?
